I wanna go fast!

Well, on our way to Atlanta we decided to take a “quick” detour off I20 and visit the Talladega Superspeedway. Talladega is the infamous racetrack from the movie “Talladega Nights” so we wanted to see if we could locate Ricky Bobby. We had no luck finding him (he may have been running around “on fire” somewhere) but we did find and get to take some pictures with the actual “Wonder Bread 26” car from the movie. The speedway tour was totally awesome- we got to take some pictures on victory lane and see the track up close from the infield. We also took the museum tour where I have never seen so many different types of cars in one area! It was showroom after showroom of every type of race car imaginable including a “33” car and Dale Earnhardt’s # 3 car. We even saw “Doc”, a Hudson Hornet from the 50’s. It was a fantastic place to visit that I recommend highly to anyone- we took over 275 pictures between the both of us in 90 minutes!
