Cirque Du Soleil TOTEM Media Day

Today I was lucky enough to attend the Media Day for Cirque Du Soleil TOTEM which is opening April 7th in Baltimore. Held in the Maryland Science Center over the lunch hour (ok, extended lunch hour), my fellow Baltimore Buzz Brigadiers and I got to meet a couple of members of the cast and take pictures alongside the press. Tom from Visit Baltimore was Ustreaming the event live on the Baltimore.org website. This being my first press event I’ve ever attended; I was very excited to attend and the chance to take some pictures. The event was a blast to attend while being the quietest shoot I’ve ever seen (or heard).

I was checking out the other photographers equipment while I was there. Being new to the field, I love to soak up as much information as I can on photography. To my surprise, roughly 90% of the photographers there were sporting Canon cameras. Below are a couple of highlights- to see some more check out my Baltimore Buzz Brigade Flickr album.
