The last time I was on the west coast (San Francisco no less) was over a decade ago. One thing that I did remember doing was visiting the legendary In and Out Burger at Fisherman’s Wharf.
Since I am now back in California after a long hiatus (and I’ll be staying here for a while) I figured it was a great time to walk 4 miles each way to try some In and Out after all these years. No, that’s not a typo, but I could use the exercise. Wandering around Mountain View was quite fun, and I got a few good pictures for a future post. Once I arrived at In and Out, I was shocked to see that the prices were (basically) unchanged since I visited last and still very cheap (especially considering we are in California). Being the amateur foodie that I am, I brought along my camera to document the goodness I was about to ingest.
I decided to go pretty basic with just a cheeseburger, vanilla shake, and fries. 35 weight watchers points later (no joke), I was quite full and very happy with my decision. As I had heard, the burger and shake were great, the fries not so much. But hey, you get points for trying right? (In case you are wondering, it’s 11 points for trying)
Man, it hit the spot today for sure!
Have you ever been to In and Out? What did you think of it?
