A couple of weeks ago, Jules and I attended a tweet up (yup, another one) held by the Baltimore Sun at Bond Social.

Right on the water in Fells Point, the weather was gorgeous and they had several tables outside. We both got to see some familiar faces (some from the Mobbies awards), meet some new ones, and it was great to catch up with everyone.

I got to hear about the Baltimore Sun’s new photography blog called The Darkroom which soft launched that day. Running on a WordPress.org platform (yes, I asked), it is much more visually appealing than their (dated) photo solution on the main site. It even looked great on a iPad 3 (brought by Will Cocks). Will also brought along a Nokia Lumia 900, which of course my inner nerd demanded (politely) to play with.

What was very cool is that most of my photos from the event (of course I brought my camera) actually made it onto the Baltimore Sun website! [It’s not everyday I get to say that :-)]
