Instagramming in Burlingame

I always wondered what it would take for me to put down my DSLR and do a “Instagram” day shooting just with my phone.

Turns out, all it would really take was a set of lenses designed for cell phone cameras. I got a set of them from the Photojojo store as payment for a modeling products for them. (Well, more than just one thing but that’s another post.)

So I slapped on the magnetic adapter to my new Galaxy Nexus and headed up to Burlingame for an arts festival. The fisheye lens is so far my favorite since it gets the most unusual photos out of a cell phone.

I also tried the wide-angle/macro lens which got me great results but still fairly “typical” of a cell phone picture.

One of the cooler features of Jellybean that I am exploring is their built-in photo options. Everything from a timelapse to a panoramic photo is available without an extra app. Playing around with the pano option was also fun that afternoon.

Overall, it was a great day to explore and play. What do you think of the photos?
