My first photowalk on the West Coast went down the way I feared the first Photowalk Alliance walk would have.
In short, no one showing up. However, Amy, Jules, and I still had a blast touring around the San Francisco Botanical Gardens.
With Amy acting as our private guide, Jules and I got to explore the grounds and check out some very cool flowers. The weather turned out to be great that day which allowed us some natural sunlight to shoot photos with. I was juggling three cameras during the walk- two Canon DSLR’s and my Galaxy Nexus.
We were all shooting with our cell phones with some great Photojojo camera lenses attached. As you can probably tell from my last post, Jules and I are big fans of a lot of the stuff that Photojojo sells. The fisheye lens for cell phones happens to be one of my favorite lenses period.
We got a ton of great photos- you can check more out on the G+ event page. Hopefully I’ll be planning more walks with them in the future and if you live in the Bay Area, I really encourage you to join us. Who knows, maybe you’ll win one of our awesome giveaway items 🙂
(Huge thanks to GoogleSF, Photojojo, and BlackRapid for their support)
