Sometimes an experience is better the second time around.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Jules and I decided to head over to Big Fun in Cleveland Heights. This was my second time visiting, and while the first time was great, I was excited to check out the place again.
Why?
Because the initial shock of a ton (literally) of toys from my childhood in one place had worn off a bit. What replaced that shock was a sense of curiosity-I wanted to hunt down stuff I remembered as a kid. Along the way, I ended up finding stuff that I used to own!
No amount of writing can properly convey the experience of walking into Big Fun. I’m not even sure pictures do it justice. It’s probably one of the few places in America you need to truly experience in person. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t gawk at my photos in the meantime.
Big Fun was founded in 1990. Since then, it’s become a nationwide sensation to a point that Playboy has named it “One of the coolest stores in America”. (At least that’s what the website says) You can read more about the story here. Anywho, it’s an awesome place to visit and quite a trip down memory lane.
But don’t take my word for it. Visit.
