This tour reminded me of the first tour I did. Except the first tour there were people I knew. ๐
This past weekend the Photowalk Alliance did a tour of 21st Amendment Brewery in San Francisco. We partnered with Timbuk2 for some awesome giveaway items (seriously). What was awesome is the fact that this was a crew of entirely new people. This was the first TPA experience for them, period, and it went off without a hitch.
The breadth of camera equipment was even wider than usual. Besides having DSLRโs and iPhones, we also had 2 Canon AE-1 Programs (one being mine) and even a GoPro! I canโt wait to see some of the shots that other attendees captured.
Our gracious guide Rob showed us the (surprisingly small) brewery room where they brew for the bar (at the location) as well as some localย keg distribution. Anything new that comes out of 21st Amendment is crafted in that very room. If it does well, it might end up being produced out of their other location in WI that does all the canning for the brand.
Iโm really proud/jealous of our main giveaway item. Our friends over at Timbuk2 were graicious enough to hook us up with a Beeraleer (for our tour guide Rob) and a 2012 Dolores Chiller bag!
Yup.
The Dolores Chiller is one of the bags Iโve lusted after for years. Itโs a low-key cooler bag that moonlights as a messenger bag. Itโs a limited run bag that changes every year and often sells out. ย Itโs fricking awesome and we got to give one away!
Beside meeting an awesome bunch of new people and giving away the best item the TPA has (so far-in terms of value), we got to try some delicious craft beer there. We ended up shoving some tables together and talking camera shop for hours. It was great. You can see the rest of the photos on my Flickr album.
