Game of Thrones Shoot

Well, this is a first! Welcome to the House of Sterne.

This past week I was invited to be part of a Game of Thrones themed photoshoot in San Francisco. Alex Huff, who does portrait and event photography, was also putting together a tutorial of the shoot. A “behind the scenes” tutorial was picked up by none other than the 500px blog!

When this went live on Wednesday, the collective internet went crazy (in a good way). This post was part of a new partnership between 500px and BorrowLenses.com. Not only was it awesome that I could be involved, but it was really cool checking out the behind the scenes…in person! Even Jules got in on the action. Alex was shooting with Nikon, but had a Canon 1DX with a 24-70mm f2.8 II on hand that I got to play with. Safe to say, it was very tough putting it down at the end of the night.
