It’s not everyday that a Glass Guide offers you free tickets to a cool place in San Francisco. So naturally, I took them up on the offer.
The tickets were for a place called the Exploratorium on Pier 15 in San Francisco. If that doesn’t ring a bell, think of one of the coolest places on Earth. The Exploratorium is a hands-on science museum (located in the heart of San Francisco} and Google brought some Glass displays/units to show off. One of the cooler things that the Exploratorium does is host adult only special events on Tuesdays…which means booze allowed. Science experiments + booze = awesome!
So, with the free admission that the Glass team provided us, Jules and I showed up to explore a place we have never visited. Man, it was awesome! There was a ton of hands on exhibits we got to demo and I even did an egg drop #throughglass (happy to report the egg survived, under budget no less). One of the more ironic parts of wandering around the Exploratorium was telling people that were curious about Glass that they too could try out Google Glass at one end of the museum!
If you ever get a chance to visit the Exploratorium, please go. It’s a amazing place full of incredible exhibits. We even learned a thing or two. 🙂
