There is something unmistakable about cannon fire. It makes your chest thump like no other.

Don’t worry though- Jules and I weren’t in a war zone. Rather, we were in Fells Point for the (8th?) Annual Privateer Day.

I was first introduced to the festivities…and drink specials of Privateer day by my buddy John back in 2008. ย I rediscovered it with my brother 2 years later after moving into the city.

Two more years pass before I return again. (Hey, it sneaks up on you) Jules and I decided to travel up for the day to Baltimore and see a “live” battle on the open seas of the Inner Harbor.
